Bible Verse of The Day – 7-31-12
(Mark 5:27-29 NKJV) When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. {28} For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." {29} Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
Sometimes all it takes is for us to press through. This woman pressed through the crowd of people, made her way to Jesus and touched His garment. She was immediately healed!
This is for those today that have been expecting something to happen for a while now. It's not time to give up because you haven't seen it yet.
The woman above woman was in this condition for 12 years. But it took her pressing through the crowd to get to the answer!!
We need to press in further if we have not received our answer yet. Get in God's word and get still with Him. Let Him show you what other changes you may need to make. Let Him show you what else it will take for you to receive your victory.
Press into Him today and reach out and touch His garment...your breakthrough is coming!!

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-30-12
(John 19:30 NKJV) So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
"It is finished." These are the most significant words spoken in the history of man.
These 3 words represent the beginning of salvation for man and the end of the power of death.
Jesus came and walked this earth for this reason... to give His life for us. It is this that gives us salvation. It is this that gives us freedom from sin. It is this that makes us righteous. We just need to claim it.
You have been bought with a price. There's nothing that you can do to add to it. Jesus paid it all and made it possible for us to stand before God, spotless and clean. We just need to ask for it.
Have you accepted the offer of salvation that Jesus made for you on that terrible cross? If not, you need to! It's not difficult and you don't need to feel like you have to clean yourself up before you can come to God.
Come to Him first and then let Him help you with the cleanup process afterward. It's a very simple thing to do. Just ask Him! If you have never accepted God's offer of salvation and forgiveness for your sins, just say this prayer or something similar in your own words:
God, I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins and make me a new creation. I believe Jesus died for me. I want to live my life for you. Amen.
That's all there is to it! If you prayed that prayer for the first time, congratulations! You are now a child of God! Your sins have been forgiven and you are starting with a clean slate.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-28-12
(Rev 3:20 NKJV) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Is Jesus knocking on your door today? Is He asking you to let Him in?
Why would we not let Him come in? Do we feel that we are not clean enough? Listen and hear what God is saying.
We don't have to be clean. When we let Him in, He will clean us up. We don't have to wait until we are doing everything just right. When we let Him in He will help us do things right. We don't have to try to act righteous. As we let Him in, He will cleanse us and through His blood He will make us righteous.
We won't want to do the same things over again that bring us pain or suffering. We won't want to live the way we were living. We will feel ourselves wanting to get away from the things that are wrong and run to the things that are right and are good for us!! Our lives and habits will change when Christ comes in!
Is Jesus knocking? Open the door and let Him in! It's the best choice we could ever make in this life!!

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-27-12
(Luke 18:17 NKJV) "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."
Childlike faith; what is it? What does it mean to receive the kingdom of God as a little child?
Think about little children and how they trust their parents. I remember when my girls were little. They would come running and say "daddy, catch me!". And they would jump, knowing that I would catch them, regardless of whether they were jumping up into my arms or of they were up on their bed or somewhere else a little higher than the ground.
They just knew I would catch them. They never doubted it.
That is childlike faith. That is what God wants us to have in Him. He wants us to trust Him and receive His kingdom in our lives as little children, knowing beyond any doubt that He has everything under control and He will catch us.
We need to let God challenge our intellect and teach us that sometimes things just don't happen the way we expect them to. Sometimes we just plain can't figure everything out, but God is still in control.
We dare you to run and jump into our Daddy's arms today, knowing that He will surely catch you.

(Luke 6:36 NKJV) "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
Mercy is something that we all need more of and need to sow more of.
God's mercy keeps us from receiving the punishments that we deserve for our sins. And every single one of us needs this!
Our mercy toward others reflects God's love and compassion in us. It's easy to forget to be merciful when it comes to others, but sometimes we need to be reminded that without God's mercy, we'd be in the same boat as those whom we tend to be harsh to.
Sow mercy today and see how different it makes your day go.

(John 10:11 NKJV) "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
Jesus is our Shepherd and we are His sheep. He gave His life for us. Who dares to say that He does not love us? No matter what we have done or been through, He is here for us. Nothing will keep His love from us.
Love Him back today. Give Him your life. If you have been on the fence and you know that you need to make a move, don't wait. Do it today.
He is our Good Shepherd. He understands us better than we understand ourselves. All it takes is for us to surrender. He is already there waiting with His arms open.

(Psa 116:1-2 NKJV) I love the LORD, because He has heard My voice and my supplications. {2} Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
God is here. He is with us day and night. Look to Him for the answers to your problems.
If you're in trouble today and you need an answer, go to God. If you need a breakthrough, go to God. He may direct you to someone else or direct someone else to you to help you, but go to Him first and let Him be the one to lead. Let Him be the one to open the door.
Sometimes we have good intentions when it comes to fixing our own problems. We think that if we got ourselves into the mess, then we need to clean it up.
Well, there may be things we'll need to do to help clean up, but when God directs us they may be things we would never have thought of doing.
Trust Him and give Him the first call.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-21-12
(John 14:6 NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
This is one of my favorite verses. It sums up the entire foundation of our salvation in a way that nobody can sensibly dispute it. Period.
Jesus is the way, He is the truth and He is the life. There is nothing found outside of Him. He offers us eternal life through simple faith.
There is no need for a 12-step program, a complicated set of rituals or anything else that man might be able to conjure up in order to make it difficult or to try to make it fit into a logical mold for our better understanding.
If anyone denies Jesus or His deity, they deny life itself. God has made it simple for us to have life in Him. Sadly, we have complicated it and made it seem difficult.
If anyone ever tries to tell you that salvation requires anything more than faith in the messiah, Jesus Christ, walk away from them and never listen to a single word they speak, because their words are not of God.

Bible verse of The Day – 7-20-12
(Eph 2:13 NKJV) But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
The blood of Christ is our source of life!
It is the blood of Jesus that takes away our sins if we apply it to ourselves. It is the blood of Jesus that gives entrance to the holiest of holies, having direct access to the father.
The blood of Jesus has been so minimized and watered down by centuries of tradition and man-made teaching.
We have been wrongly taught to plead the blood of Jesus over so many things... our cars, our jobs, our material possessions, and the list could go on and on.
But the blood of Jesus was shed to give us forgiveness of sins, new life, healing and freedom!! It wasn't shed so it could be misused and taken lightly.
The blood of Jesus is pure and holy, like nothing else on this earth. Let's be very careful how we speak of it and apply it in our own lives.
