Bible Verse of The Day – 4-2-13

(Psalm 29:11 NKJV)  The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.

Are we running on empty today? Have we given out every last bit of ourselves and feel like just curling up in a ball and staying in bed? I would say that is a good sign we need God's strength.

I was taught as a young child you don't show those ones trying to hurt you or pick on you that they are getting to you. No matter how I felt, I had to keep a smile on my face and keep going.

Well, that's OK to do around those that would love to see you fail. But, when it comes to our Lord, we can let down our guard for He knows what we need and where we are at emotionally, and physically.

If we are drained...we need to refuel. Let down your guard and get God's strength and peace today.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-17-12

(Heb 12:1 NKJV)  Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us...

Are you struggling with keeping your faith strong? Are the things of this world pulling on you and trying with all their might to break down your trust in God?

The race that we run is not a short one. It is life-long. This race lasts for all the days of our lives and we need to run it well.

The battles can make us weary, feeling like we can't make it through another day of trials. But hold fast to your faith and your hope.

God has made a way for us to persevere and have victory, if we don't faint and we don't give up!

If you're feeling weak, press into God. Immerse yourself in His word and pull your strength from Him. His resources are unlimited and His well will never run dry.

In the name of Jesus, don't let your life be another example of a spiritual life sucked dry by the cares, worries and sins of this world.

Make a commitment to grow and strengthen your faith each day, not to let it shrink and fade.

People of God, stand strong!

Bible Verse of The Day – 6-14-12

(Phil 4:13 NKJV)  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

We are never expected to do things on our own!

I know there must be a lot of us going through some kind of battle right now, because it seems that many of the verses we're being prompted to share are about battles, victories, trials and depending on God to help us through them.

On our own, we're weak, feeble and lacking in so many areas. Oh, I know that's not something we like to hear, but it's plain, simple truth.

But in Christ, we can do all things! He gives us strength, peace, joy, understanding, discernment, compassion and victory! There is nothing that we lack in Christ.

Press into Him today. Make that extra effort to push through the obstacles and touch the hem of his robe and get your healing, your deliverance, and your victory. It doesn't always come easy, but it does come if we depend on Him for it!
