Psalm 34:18 (NKJV) 18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have we ever had something happen to us that causes our heart to ache? We feel sad from what has happened or the way things turned out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can be real with God, because He already knows about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A broken heart is no joke. It is real pain\u00a0and we have to let God repair it, or it can affect us in a negative way.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t want to ever lose hope because of what we went through or what we saw happen. We need to keep trusting God, for He can help in such sensitive and personal situations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we are feeling the effect of a broken heart, know that God is near and He is willing to do whatever it takes to bring healing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How long it will take is different for all of us. Don\u2019t feel like we have to rush it or think there is something wrong with us because it is taking so long.<\/p>\n

We will have good moments, and then other times it may be completely different and the memories may be very strong. We need to take the time needed for a complete recovery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Reading God\u2019s word will help to get our mind off of the painful thoughts and give us encouragement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n
