Psalm 24:10 (NKJV) 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sometimes it’s important to simply sit and contemplate God and who He is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our human minds can never completely comprehend Him and His ways, but when we ponder on Him it helps us to learn to revere Him and love Him even more than we do already.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There are many ways to learn to revere Him, but one of the best ways is to take notice of everything around us. God\u2019s creation is one of the best examples of His workmanship. It\u2019s raw and beautiful, and we can take it in without it being run through some of the filters that the world tells us we have to use when we look at ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You know. The man-made standards that we tend to apply to ourselves when we see ourselves in the mirror that make us think about who we\u2019d rather be, instead of who God has made us to be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God doesn\u2019t need Photoshop to make His creation look beautiful. It already is<\/em> beautiful and breathtaking. It speaks volumes about His majesty and His glory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And even though we humans are full of flaws when it comes to our behavior, the wonders of the human body far outweigh our selfish, terrible actions if we can find it in ourselves to look past all of the ugliness in the things we say and do at times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sit. Kneel. Lay on your face. It doesn\u2019t matter how we do it. The important thing is that we do it; we take time to recognize the King of glory and give Him the love and reverence due Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
