Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In the verse above, Paul is helping believers to know that we need to be ready for what we will battle against.<\/p>\n

He wants us to understand the importance of knowing that we are going to be faced with a fight. Things aren\u2019t necessarily going to be easy for us just because we are God\u2019s children. We will wrestle against wickedness at times. We won\u2019t always understand why things are happening to us.<\/p>\n

But God knows. And if we go to Him and stay in His word, He will keep us on our toes and on guard to the things the enemy would love to destroy us with.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is why we pray and we read His word. We get as close as we can to God, through His precious Son. Why? Because we need to be able to stand, and keep standing.<\/p>\n

When rulers of darkness come around and try to hit us, we can\u2019t take them on our own. But with God, now that\u2019s a different story.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ephesians 6:13 (NKJV)13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

With God\u2019s word in us, and as we stayed prayed up, we will be strong and ready for the battle. The armor is on and we will walk out of the battle with the victory!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
