John 13:34-35 (NKJV) 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is one of the most challenging verses that will impact us throughout our entire life as a believer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Loving someone when all is good is not a problem at all. We can all do that! But when things aren\u2019t so good, it is impossible at times to hold back those feelings, emotions and our tongue. We can\u2019t do this on our own.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can\u2019t love like this without the Holy Spirit. We need His help to help us restrain ourselves and walk in such a love as this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Isaiah 63:11 (NKJV) 11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying: \u201cWhere is He who brought them up out of the sea With the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God put the Holy Spirit within Moses and his people, and they came through many obstacles victoriously! If they needed Him in the days of old, what makes us think that we don’t need Him today?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Holy Spirit will guide us and give us the discipline we need to push down the feelings that will cause us to do more harm than good. He will give us wisdom to say the right thing at the right time. And He will give us understanding to know all that we need to know about any situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The thing is, if we want to truly<\/em> love\u00a0each other the way God loves us, we need to let Him train us through the leading of His Spirit, one situation at a time, over the course of our lives. It doesn\u2019t just happen overnight. But over time, we build on this love.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is our witness to all<\/em>, by walking in such a love that God Himself is with us, with the hope that they too will believe in Him and receive Him as their Savior.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 14:26 (NKJV) 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ask God to fill us with His Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
