Psalm 121:2 (NKJV) 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

About a month ago, I decided to ride a scooter with my grand-kids, who are 12 & 10 years old. They had theirs and I had one of my own too.<\/p>\n

We were having a grand time and they couldn\u2019t believe their Grandmommy was scooter riding alongside them.<\/p>\n

I kept up pretty good and was happy to be out there with them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We were almost back to our yard when I got a little too close to the edge of the road and hit the soft dirt. In slow motion I went over the top of the handle bars and landed on the ground.<\/p>\n

My grandson was the nearest to me and asked if I was alright. My granddaughter, a little up ahead, turned back and shouted, \u201cOh no, Grandmommy, are you alright\u201d?!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I got up so fast, I didn\u2019t care if I had broken a bone or not. I didn\u2019t care if I was bleeding or not. I just got up very quickly and said, \u201clet\u2019s get home”. I didn\u2019t want anyone to see me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It was mostly my pride that was hurt and I didn\u2019t feel anything else until the next day, as you can imagine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Needless to say, PRIDE<\/em> is a funny thing. We could be dying and not want anyone to know we\u2019re hurting, physically, emotionally or in any other way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If you are struggling or in pain over anything, please get help today. Don\u2019t be afraid to say something. When we need help, ask the Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Leave dumb old pride by the side of the road and get the help we need.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
