Hebrews 11:8 (NKJV) 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It’s very important to know and understand that Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out. Being called to go out is different than just taking a “step of faith” because we want to or we feel like we need to.<\/p>\n

If we are called and we take the steps we know God is asking us to take by faith, all will work out according to His plan. There is no doubt. We\u00a0say this with all confidence in Him.<\/p>\n

But, if we are not <\/em>called and we take a “step of faith” because we want something in return, that is not the same. And we can fall miserably on our faces and lose everything.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be sure to obey God when we are called to take a step of faith.\u00a0 We can’t just do what we want and call it “a step of faith”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So many Christians today are in trouble because they stepped out in this\u00a0so-called\u00a0faith. They have nothing and no one to back them up.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a problem within the body of Christ, and unbelievers are seeing it and running far from it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How do we get back on track with God?<\/p>\n

By acknowledging we were wrong and the steps that we took were nothing more than our own desires, wants, and ambitions.<\/p>\n

Admit it and repent\u00a0for it, asking Him to have mercy.<\/p>\n

Psalm 51:1 (NKJV) 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.<\/p>\n

We need to ask God to help us get back on track with Him.\u00a0It\u2019s not hard. And if we are sincere, God will meet us on that road and show us the way home. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Psalm 34:17 (NKJV) 17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
