Psalm 86:12 (NKJV) 12 I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have you ever known that you needed to praise God, but you just didn\u2019t feel like it?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Many people might read that and think about being in a church service and praising God corporately, as a large group. And while that\u2019s the typical setting, this is more about praising God individually, one-on-one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we can feel down. Maybe we\u2019re disappointed about something that happened (or didn\u2019t happen).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Maybe we have been dealt a blow somehow that has us a bit mad at God, even though it wasn\u2019t His fault.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Often times we let our emotions dictate how and when we praise Him, or whether we praise Him at all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But here\u2019s the thing. Our worship and praise for God isn\u2019t meant to be based on how we feel. Not at all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth, not based on our emotions or our intellect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 4:24 (NKJV) 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, no matter how we\u2019re feeling, up, down or somewhere in between, we need to give God our adoration and praise!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we feeling sick? Are we disappointed? Are we angry about something? Are we in trouble? Are we in intense pain? Are we stressed? Are we under pressure?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It doesn\u2019t matter. Regardless of what we\u2019re going through, we need to praise our God with everything in us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He is worthy of our praise, morning, noon and night, no matter how we feel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Praise Him, saints of God!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
