James 4:14 (NKJV) 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What is life? And what\u2019s it really all about anyway?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

These are two questions that get asked more than we realize, every second of every day, by people from all walks of life, around the entire world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Every one of us has probably pondered on this more than once. It\u2019s part of a built-in desire that longs for satisfaction in our lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s this very same desire that causes us to chase after so many things, hoping that the next thing will be \u201cthe one\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But they never are. They are never that thing that satisfies us and fulfills us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Even Solomon in all of his wisdom and understanding wrestled with this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

To this day there is no one who can rival the wealth and fame of Solomon. Even thousands of years ago, when information was spread solely by word of mouth, his fame spread to places worldwide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

People\u00a0traveled for days and weeks at a time to come meet with him because of his reputation. Yet, as Solomon pondered life, he deduced that it was all vanity and grasping for the wind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ecclesiastes 1:14 (NKJV) 14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, if all of this is vanity and grasping for the wind, and none of it satisfies, then what is life really all about? Where can we find true satisfaction?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can only find true satisfaction in The One, the Creator of us all and everything around us. He will fulfill us. He will satisfy us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s up to us to pursue Him<\/em>, instead of all the things of the world that leave us constantly empty and searching for more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

1 John 2:16 (NKJV) 16 For all that is in the world\u2014the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life\u2014is not of the Father but is of the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

His love goes beyond anything we can imagine or comprehend. Let\u2019s stop grasping for the wind. Reach, instead, for Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
