Romans 12:2 (NKJV) 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So much of what we see, hear and read today is contrary to the word of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

TV, movies, radio, websites, social media and so many other outlets are straying further and further from the truth of God\u2019s word and accepting just about anything that anyone suggests, as long as it feels good or makes others feel accepted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No matter what it is, no matter how ridiculous it might seem, we are told that it\u2019s OK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The vast majority of these things are blatantly in contrast to God\u2019s word. Yet, even many people who profess to be followers of Christ are embracing them, accepting them, and even promoting them as\u00a0truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are no longer adhering to sound doctrine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will\u00a0heap\u00a0up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

People of God, we cannot continue to take this path! There needs to come an awakening and a change of direction!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s time to recognize right and wrong again, as\u00a0God\u2019s\u00a0word has taught us.\u00a0 And it\u2019s time to stand for truth and righteousness again, even when it\u2019s not popular.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s critical that we speak truth, in love, to bring light and accountability to this lost and dying world, to those who have lost their way and are wandering in\u00a0darkness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Romans 1:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, \u201cThe just shall live by faith.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, the enemy has chipped away at Biblical morals and the wisdom of God, causing even people who were once believers in sound doctrine to question the very foundation that their lives were built upon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But\u00a0God\u2019s\u00a0word says that we are without excuse. We cannot justify this by any means whatsoever; not political, not social, not anything.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is God, and His word stands. It is truth that doesn\u2019t change from one generation to the next. It does not bend to suit our desires or our changing ideologies. God\u2019s truth is truth, no matter how many ways some might try to make it seem otherwise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Malachi 3:6 (NKJV) 6 \u201cFor I am the Lord, I do not change…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Truth needs to prevail. But it can\u2019t prevail if it isn\u2019t made known. So, it\u2019s up to us to make it known.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why? Because the truth, when it\u2019s accepted and embraced, sets people free.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 8:32 (NKJV) 32\u00a0And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is not a political message. It is not a message of condemnation. It is a message of light, love and hope, that we will return to where God wants us to be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to stay at our post, standing guard over the truth, and not backing down when the onslaught of the enemy comes in like a flood.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
