Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One of the most incredible things about the word of God is the life and the power it displays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The word of God is alive. It is never static. It has what we need for every situation in our lives, no matter what we might come up against.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is why it\u2019s so critical that we spend time in the word!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What we see in one light today may very well speak to us tomorrow in a very different way. That\u2019s the beauty of it. It is very much alive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As we mature in our walk with God, we will learn to see more and more in His word that speaks to us on a very personal level, touching us in ways that we can apply directly to our lives; ways that change us in a lasting, profound manner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We just have to be willing to let God\u2019s spirit speak to us and reveal the things to us that God wants us to have understanding in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As we say so often, this is why it\u2019s so critically important that we make sure to spend time in God\u2019s word. It is our lifeline, our source of wisdom and understanding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Start small. A little here, and a little there. And then let God slowly immerse you in it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It will eventually become what you look forward to each day, feeding you and sustaining you through thick and thin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And as you do this, your world will be opened up more and more to God\u2019s ways and the path He has set your feet on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
