Colossians 3:15 (NKJV) 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Let the peace of God rule…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, we can sometimes fight the peace of God. We can be our own worst enemy.<\/p>\n

I know, because there are times when God is saying to me, \u201cstop, slow down, you need to rest\u201d, and I question Him.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s right, the very ONE who knows me best, created me, loves me more than I know and Who wants the best for me. I question Him at times and say, “are YOU sure, Lord? I really think I need to do this. Who else will do it if I don\u2019t?”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What is wrong with this picture?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is it pride? Because pride is not good.<\/p>\n

Is it arrogance? Because that\u2019s not good either.<\/p>\n

Is it fear of some type, or maybe pressure from others? Because guess what, those are not good.<\/p>\n

What is it that makes us keep going when we truly know something is wrong? We are so tired, but we keep going. Why?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Do I really think I know better than God? I get exhausted and worn out, and I even get sick from not listening. But I\u2019ve always got to keep doing what I\u2019m doing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Who knows what I\u2019m talking about today? How can we fix this?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can start by learning that we are not the savior, the rescuer, or the only one who can do it. There are others that can do it. They just need to step up to the plate.<\/p>\n

But, as long as we are in the way, they won’t step up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Come on. We have done enough for now. Pull back. Rest as God has said to do. And let the peace of God rule!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

His Peace comes in when we slow down and make room for it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
