Luke 11:35 (NKJV) 35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Darkness is opposed to light.<\/p>\n

It disapproves of it or prevents it. It actively resists it or refuses to comply with it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we let in error, ignorance, disobedience, willful blindness or rebellion, it taints the light of God that lives in us; that light that we are to walk in as children of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ephesians 5:8 (NKJV) 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be careful what we watch & read, what we listen to, and what or who we put our trust in. Those are the channels that darkness can enter in through; the eyes, the ears and the heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Holy Spirit will help protect them if we let Him. You know, that little awkward feeling we get when we are ready to attempt something not good, or say something profane.<\/p>\n

It could be the slightest little thing. Maybe something we never thought would hurt us. He will alert us and let us know, even when we don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Those little things He is alerting us to are the foxes that will take away the tenderness of our heart.<\/p>\n

Be alert to catch it when He shows us. Deal with them quickly and accordingly. Don\u2019t overlook them, for they could affect us hugely if we don\u2019t listen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
