1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NKJV) 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

No matter who we are or where we are in this life, there are times when we need some edifying and comforting. And there will be times when we need to be the ones to give it out.<\/p>\n

No one can go long without it. It’s really what keeps us going. It keeps us alive!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There are so many ways to bring comfort.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A simple smile or a hug. A kind word, a small gift. A phone call or a letter. These little touches can make a huge impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Laughter is great! I was with my oldest daughter recently, doing some grocery shopping, when we saw someone we knew and hadn’t seen for quite a while. We began talking and catching up on things.<\/p>\n

We were all laughing and having a good old time right there in the grocery store. As the people heard us laughing, they asked if they could join in! Others were remarking that we were having way too much fun!<\/p>\n

After we were all done, we said our goodbyes. We were all checking out and the cashier said, \u201cboy I just loved to hear you all laughing and having a good time back there. I almost left my register to go see what was going on”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

People love laughter. They love to see smiles. It truly is contagious and eye-catching. The Bible says it does us good, like medicine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Proverbs 17:22 (NKJV) 22 A merry heart does good, like medicine,\u00a0But\u00a0a broken spirit dries the bones.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be merry. Comfort and edify each other!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
