Mark 2:15 (NKJV) 15 Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi\u2019s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Tax collectors and sinners were following Jesus. They liked what they heard and what they saw. What did they see and what did they hear?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Truth!<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter who we are. If\u00a0we are searching for\u00a0the truth and ready to hear it, God will bring it.<\/p>\n

Some don\u2019t want to hear\u00a0it. They ignore it and push it away. Or they\u00a0run away\u00a0from it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus ate with the “sick”; the\u00a0sinners and tax collectors. And He loved doing so because they welcomed Him. But the others, the scribes and pharisees, saw it and they questioned why He would do such a thing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Mark 2:16 (NKJV) 16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, \u201cHow is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How is it?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what He came for! That was His purpose. He came for those that needed help, healing and restoration. He came for us all that know we need salvation.\u00a0And He loves every one of us. We all need His help. Let us not think that we are any better than anyone. We all have our “issues”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0Mark 2:17 (NKJV) 17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, \u201cThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we think we are too well<\/em> for help, then we will lose out on what Jesus can do for us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
