Romans 12:2 (NKJV) 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When we become a believer, by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, our old being must be transformed. The old man will not do any longer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have to begin to pick up godly traits, from that moment on. We are truly a new creation. However, we have to learn, grow and allow this transformation to take place in our heart and in our mind!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Oh boy, will our mind fight back at times. Just remember, if it is fighting us when it comes to doing what is right, we need to be that much stronger to say no.<\/p>\n

It will show us the rebellion it has at times, even toward what God wants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God can not and will not do it for us. He wants us to care for it as needed, and put it in line with His will.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Romans 8:6 (NKJV) 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As a Christian, if we do not allow this transformation to take place, we will live in a carnal state of mind and it will bring destruction to God\u2019s will for us.<\/p>\n

Carnal\u00a0 thinking\u00a0should never\u00a0dominate over the leading of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we let Him transform our minds, we will walk according to His will, and it will bring life and peace to our spirit man.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
