Galatians 5:1 (NKJV) 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Stand fast: Remain where you are. Don\u2019t stray. Don\u2019t wander. Don\u2019t leave where you are.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

All of these indicate that if we are in Christ, we need to stay put, not wandering from where we are.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have been given salvation, liberty, and freedom from the bondage of the law and of the flesh, by God’s grace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

By this salvation, Christ has made us free!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Never again should we be entangled, enslaved or burdened by the yoke of bondage, manmade religion and rituals, with its rules, laws and burdens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus didn\u2019t die for us so we could brush off what He did and tangle ourselves up in the bondage of religion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

On the contrary, He died to set us free <\/em>from these types of entanglements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The verse above was written by Paul, warning Christians of that time not to allow themselves to become tied up in the Jewish law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In today\u2019s times, there is even more that we can get caught up in, causing us to forget what Jesus did for us, and, more importantly, why <\/em>He did it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He died not only to save us from our sinful selves, but also to allow us access to the Father, without having to jump through hoops to obtain <\/em>that access.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Stand fast, and do not be entangled again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
