Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) 10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This verse is incredibly encouraging and uplifting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

First, God tells us very plainly not to fear. Why? Because He is with us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we could have anyone with us as we face trials or things that are uncertain, there is nobody better than Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He never leaves us. He never forsakes us. He never turns us away. He never changes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Then He tells us not to be dismayed. Dismayed isn\u2019t a word that we use much these days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What does it mean? Frightened, troubled, bothered, distressed, saddened, concerned, upset, shocked, disheartened.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That covers a whole slew of emotions that most of us might wrestle with during times of uncertainty or trouble.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, why should we not be dismayed? Because He is our God! He said it Himself, right after telling us not to be dismayed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Then, to wrap it all up, what does He tell us He will do?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He will strengthen us! And He will help us!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And, lastly, He will uphold (sustain, support, defend, stand by) us with His righteous right hand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That righteous right hand is symbolic of His power, sovereignty and might.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And in Exodus 15:6, Moses sang that God\u2019s right hand had dashed the enemy (Egypt) in pieces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, if you are facing a time of trial or uncertainty, we say, just as God Himself said, fear not! He will strengthen you and uphold you with His righteous right hand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Amen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
