Philippians 4:7 (NKJV) 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Do we suffer from anxiety? Do we wake up at night gasping for air,\u00a0panicking over something that is weighing on our\u00a0minds?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We\u2019ve been there. It\u2019s frustrating.<\/p>\n

After struggling through a night of broken sleep, we do our best to go about our day and find some kind of peace. And then, out of nowhere, we’re reminded of our situation. Finding peace in that can be difficult.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But God\u2019s<\/em> peace surpasses all understanding. To surpass means to exceed; be greater than.<\/p>\n

Sometimes when we are anxious or worried about something, we don\u2019t want to hear about God\u2019s peace. We want something done about the situation we are in. Peace is not what we think we need at that moment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But,\u00a0it is the very thing we need<\/em> to have\u00a0if we want to move forward and work things out.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0can not be moved by anxiety. We\u00a0can not be moved by our fear. We\u00a0can not be moved by a lack of understanding. We\u00a0can not\u00a0move forward\u00a0without God\u2019s peace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The peace of God upon us will move us in the direction we need to go. It will guard our heart and mind and keep us on the right track.<\/p>\n

God’s peace surpasses, or should we say, exceeds and is greater than all understanding.<\/p>\n

Get God’s peace. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
