1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV) 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Love is the greatest and most powerful thing we can spend time getting good at.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Loving someone who is good to us is oh so easy. But loving someone we don\u2019t even know or like is so hard.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0cannot\u00a0do it on our own. We need God\u2019s compassion and strength to stick with it and be steadfast in loving one another.<\/p>\n

Oh sure, we can walk away from people that make us feel uncomfortable or drive us crazy. But is that really what God wants?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Trying\u00a0to love someone that is completely opposite of us can be very difficult. But we can always find\u00a0a way\u00a0to work it out.<\/p>\n

As a matter a fact, we can actually learn a lot by loving someone that is opposite from us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In our own marriage, we are very opposite in\u00a0many ways.\u00a0But\u00a0we love each other deeply.<\/p>\n

So, no\u00a0matter how opposite we are, when we are apart from each other even for a short time, we very much look forward to being together again. We miss each other even if we are just out and about doing separate things.<\/p>\n

How does this happen when we are so opposite?\u00a0How can we even stand being around each other with such different ways of doing things?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s love! Love that goes beyond just emotions and feelings.<\/p>\n

It holds us together like glue and causes us to keep pressing forward, understanding that there is more to learn in life than what we already know.<\/p>\n

Love teaches us that there are always other ways of handling things or doing things.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Love isn\u2019t just a feeling. It is an action we all need to take if we want a better marriage, a better friendship, a better workplace setting and a better world to live in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
