Proverbs 27:1 (NKJV) 1 Do not boast about tomorrow,\u00a0For\u00a0you do not know what a day may bring forth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Planning, scheduling and setting goals throughout our day is good. It helps us work more efficiently and makes sure we’re doing what needs to be done.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s only right that we do this if we want to be diligent with our time.<\/p>\n

But, to go on and on about what we\u00a0know\u00a0and don\u2019t know about tomorrow, a month from now or even a\u00a0year from now is just a bunch of hot air.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know, and we should not boast or brag about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some people can tell us stories about things they are facing, or maybe what they have walked through, that they never knew was going to happen. That\u2019s what we are talking about.<\/p>\n

Unexpected things happen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

People who live confidently, thinking they’ve got everything\u00a0figured out, can be in for a rude awakening when things don\u2019t go as planned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We want to prepare you\u00a0beforehand\u00a0so that you don\u2019t fall into despair or go off the deep end when the unexpected comes along.<\/p>\n

None of us are promised a tomorrow. If we get a tomorrow, we need to be thankful and live it out as if it was our last day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God did not make us to have everything planned out on our own. He made us to appreciate one day at a time. He made us a people that would walk with Him, lean and trust Him every day that we live and breathe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But we<\/em> think we have to try and fix things ourselves. We<\/em> have to make things work the way we<\/em> want them to and get it done in our<\/em> time, not wanting to wait on Someone else.<\/p>\n

\n

Let\u2019s face it, children of God. When Covid-19 came rolling in and changed everything, were we prepared for that?<\/p>\n

No. We had no clue it was coming. And it changed how we did things with the snap of a finger.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, we need to be sure that we don\u2019t boast or brag about tomorrow, because\u00a0only God knows what\u2019s to come tomorrow. It\u2019s safe to say we all can boast in Someone<\/em> and that Someone is Him!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

1 Corinthians 1:31 (NIV) 31 Therefore, as it is written: \u201cLet the one who boasts boast in the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
