Psalm 94:19 (NKJV) 19 In the multitude of my anxieties within me,\u00a0Your\u00a0comforts delight my soul.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our grandson is a thinker. He is only 13, but yet he thinks about things that most adults don\u2019t even think about.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Because of this thinking, sometimes he doesn\u2019t sleep well. This is especially true if there is change.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I said to him one day, “God does not like for us to worry. Because when we worry, it makes a statement and shows our fear”.<\/p>\n

As I continued, I said, “it\u2019s OK to be afraid and notice that we are afraid. But when we feel the fear of the unknown, or even the known, we don\u2019t freeze, but we take the next step”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This “next step” we take is huge!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We say, \u201cDear God, I\u2019m scared. Help me know that everything will be alright as long as You are near. Take this fear and give me Your peace. Help me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If anxiety hits us, it is not to stay long. When we notice it, we need to get rid of it quickly. It will eat us up and leave us exhausted if it lingers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God will bring us comfort and peace in the midst of change, in the midst of a storm or in a trial.<\/p>\n

In the midst of\u00a0decision making,\u00a0He will comfort our soul.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t stress. God is faithful to take care of us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
