2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The word of God is so very important to us. We hold onto it for our lives, because it gives us life and keeps us going down the right path.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One of the biggest questions we get from people all around the world is, \u201chow do we hear from God?”.<\/p>\n

And the 2nd\u00a0biggest is, \u201chow do we know what steps to take or when to make a move?\u201d.<\/p>\n

These are two very big questions for all of us. And although we would love to give each and every one of you a step-by-step plan as to how to know, the safest and clearest thing to say is, \u201cget it in the word.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The understanding of God\u2019s timing, and His answers for you are hidden in the scriptures.<\/p>\n

We have to seek Him<\/em> to find them.<\/p>\n

We will always hear from God when we are in His Word.<\/p>\n

Now, here is the important thing we all need to remember and to know for our own situations. We need to get\u00a0all\u00a0of the Word for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t mean we have to read the whole Bible at once to get our answer for the situation we are in now.<\/p>\n

But it means we need to be able to read and study without skipping the sections that we don\u2019t think pertain to us in this day and age we live in. You know; those things that don’t seem relevant because of the difference in cultures between then and now.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s also important that we remember that it says “all scripture”, not just part of the scriptures.<\/p>\n

This is where some get confused and go off on the wrong road. They only take part of the scripture, and because of this, they don\u2019t ever get the fullness and the balance they need.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We would never order an ice cream cone and settle for just the cone. We want it all!<\/p>\n

If we got the cone with no ice cream, we would know right away that we were missing something! We\u2019d be like, \u201cCome on… where\u2019s the best part of it?\u201d.<\/p>\n

Some of us are settling for just the cone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need all the scripture working in us to be able to reach our destination, fix our errors and walk in\u00a0righteousness. We need it to bring balance in every area of our life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Read the whole Word of God. Be thoroughly equipped for every good work! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
