Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Trusting God entails a lot of things.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

First, it means that we not spend our time worrying and fretting about things that we might not understand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Second, it means that we may encounter things that we may not understand in the natural, but that we rely on His Spirit to give us discernment and understanding in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It also means that we watch and listen for His leading and direction in all things.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Nowhere, though, does it ever say or imply that we just trust Him, sit back and do nothing 100% of the time, expecting Him to do everything for us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is absolutely not true!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Trusting Him with all our heart means that we get His input and His understanding and then we let Him direct our paths.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That means that we have to do<\/em> something!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, there will be times (most times) when we have to get up and walk out whatever it is that He shows us to do (directs our paths).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have to take action! We have to walk out our faith in Him by doing whatever it is that He tells us to do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, it\u2019s time, fellow warriors in Christ, to rise up!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Yes, we need to pray! Yes, we need to be sure to acknowledge Him in all our ways (everything we do)!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But we also need to let Him direct our paths and take action!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
