2 Chronicles 32:7-8 (NKJV) 7 \u201cBe strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.\u201d And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We all have enemies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some of our enemies are natural, fleshly. Other enemies are spiritual.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Either way, the words spoken above by king Hezekiah are truly inspiring and encouraging for each and every one of us, as they were for the people of Judah when he originally spoke them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Volatile times, times of trouble that make us unsure about what we’re seeing around us, can cause many of us to sway back and forth in our emotions. One minute we\u2019re strong and bold, while the next minute we\u2019re unsure of anything at all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s important that we not let our emotions dictate how we feel. It\u2019s important that we let the Spirit of God continue to lead us and guide our steps, keeping us tracking toward<\/em> God and His strength, not away<\/em> from Him, into fear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When these words were spoken, the people of Judah were facing a natural enemy, the king of Assyria and all of his armies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Today, we may be facing a health crisis, a financial crisis, a crisis in the country that we live in. There are so many different things we can face.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No matter what it is, though, God is ultimately in control. He is still on the throne. He is still omnipotent. And that<\/em> is why we shouldn\u2019t live in fear, or lose hope in dire times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As were the people of Judah, let us be strengthened by the words of king Hezekiah, king of Judah!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
