Psalm 119:18 (NKJV) 18 Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Being blind is no way to walk this earth. We need to walk with our eyes wide open. We need to understand that\u00a0obedience, or following God\u2019s word, is the most crucial thing we can do and get good at!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is the only way we will see wondrous things.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

People may think they are living a good life, when in fact they have not even touched the surface yet because they have not let God open their eyes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How does He open our eyes? When we realize that He really cares and loves us more than we could know, then our eyes are opened. That is the beginning of our eye-opening\u00a0journey.<\/p>\n

Why? Because then we will trust Him with everything more than we trust ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I know that some things that happen in our lives may cause us to question God. Maybe some reading this are in this state right now.<\/p>\n

Maybe your child has changed in a big way and they are acting out. And we say, “why, God?”.<\/p>\n

Maybe we have lost someone we loved deeply and we are saying, “why, God?”.<\/p>\n

Maybe our finances dried up, despite having been tithers for years, and we are saying, “why, God?”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is normal, and it is OK to ask Him why. I believe He would have it that way. He does not have a problem with explaining why things are the way they are.<\/p>\n

But, are we\u00a0willing\u00a0and ready to accept the answer without holding what took place against Him? Are we ready to get our eyes opened?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some aren\u2019t. Some would rather stay angry, mopey and discouraged. That\u2019s our own choice.<\/p>\n

But don\u2019t pull anyone else down. Stay there if we feel we must, but let others move on, because some are<\/em> ready to move on.<\/p>\n

It’s been a long while and the time is now.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God does wondrous things when we allow Him to open our eyes and see things the right way.<\/p>\n

He has a way of fixing us up even when we think we are a lost cause and can\u2019t go on. God knows what it will take. Let Him open our eyes today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
