John 8:19 (NKJV) 19 Then they said to Him, \u201cWhere is Your Father?\u201d Jesus answered, \u201cYou know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.\u201d If you know Me, you would know the Father<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus\u00a0let\u00a0the people know that they didn’t\u00a0know\u00a0Him the way they should.<\/p>\n

They didn’t\u00a0believe in Him and Who His Father said He was;\u00a0the only begotten Son, sent from Heaven, the Messiah, and Savior of the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s sad to think that they were so far off. Jesus said\u00a0it like this:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 7:23 (NKJV) 23 And then I will declare to them, \u2018I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness<\/span>!\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I never knew you. We don\u2019t want these words to ever sit on our heads.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Getting to know Jesus\u00a0takes an effort on our part, to want to know and learn of Him, not just intellectually, but personally.<\/p>\n

We need to follow\u00a0Him, letting His light guide us.<\/p>\n

When He leads us, we have sharp discernment, our understanding is quick and we are focused.<\/p>\n

Every step we make means something and there is great accomplishment and a peace about it all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 8:12 (NKJV) 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, \u201cI am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not\u00a0walk-in\u00a0darkness, but have the light of life<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why should we be in\u00a0darkness when Jesus says that\u00a0if we follow Him, we will have the light of life?<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know about you, but\u00a0I want the light of life not only living in me, but flourishing in me!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Light is good<\/strong>. Know Jesus and you will know our Father. Walking with them is better\u00a0than\u00a0we could ever have it on our own. They are our life!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Job 33:4 (NKJV) 4 The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Take a step in knowing Jesus today in a more intimate and deeper way.<\/p>\n

Start by opening the book of John.\u00a0Just read a little at a time and let Him reveal Himself to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to Help take you to a deeper relationship with Him.<\/p>\n

Be diligent in giving Him time to reveal Himself to you throughout your daily routine. And keep your eyes and ears open.\u00a0He is faithful to come alive in our daily walk as we give Him the freedom to move.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
