Proverbs 1:7 (NKJV) 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As a Believer, I look around and there are many things that make me shudder these days.<\/p>\n

Evil has been brought to light.\u00a0It\u2019s not hidden anymore.\u00a0Things that once would not have been allowed are now very easily accepted.<\/p>\n

So very sad, and it can make us feel helpless and fearful of what\u2019s up ahead.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But we cannot let fear of the unknown set in. That is not a healthy\u00a0kind of fear to have as a child of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In situations like these, we need to pull back. We need not\u00a0dwell on what we see is going on around us, but rest in knowing that God will lead us all in what to do.<\/p>\n

He has a plan and His plan is AWESOME! His plan is to WIN and not just a little win, but a BIG win. God does nothing little.<\/p>\n

He is Omnipotent, He is Omnipresent and He is Omniscient, a Mighty God is He!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Fearing a situation that we have no control over\u00a0is not\u00a0of God. He is\u00a0the One who can turn all things around and put things in their proper place.\u00a0Now that\u2019s the One we should be fearful of or in AWE of.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Romans 5:3-4 (NKJV) 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

To glory in anything means to take great pleasure in. We don\u2019t fear. Instead, we take pleasure in difficult or heavy times.<\/p>\n

Why?\u00a0because we fear the Lord, and because He will give us knowledge in all that we need to do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I have watched Him do things that I can\u2019t even explain at times. I look around and see His beauty and magnificence in creation itself.<\/p>\n

I look at humans and their incredible ability to do what we do, because of Him putting us together the way He did!<\/p>\n

I see the birth of child and the way it is wonderfully and fearfully made, and I fall to my knees in AWE, knowing that we are in the palm of Papa\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n

None of what this world throws at us can harm us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) 17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,\u201d Says the Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He is in control. I don\u2019t fear what may come at me.\u00a0I pray that the efforts I put forth will be pleasing and that He may say, “well done, good and faithful servant”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Fear the Lord…not our\u00a0circumstances. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
