Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) 3 \u2018Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I live in New England, where the winters are cold and snow falls from time to time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I have lived here all my life. I was born here and have never lived anywhere else. So, you\u2019d think that I would love the winters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Over the years, I have grown to despise the cold and snow. I very much prefer warmth over cold. I prefer to be able to go outside to walk, go fishing, spend time at the range practicing my shooting skills and enjoying the outdoors in general.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have considered moving south, where it is warm all year. But we have never felt the release by God to do that. So, we stay put for now.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Today, as I write this, it is cold and snowing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I find this oddly symbolic. Let me explain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

On this day, there is a very dark presence in the spiritual atmosphere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That presence is strong. It is foreboding. It taunts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is the culmination of decades of activity by some very dark players, both in the natural, and in the spiritual realm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This presence causes many to fall into despair and question the very foundations of their faith.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Now, let me get back to snow, and why I mentioned it earlier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Even though I don\u2019t like snow much, I see the snow that\u2019s falling today as being very symbolic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Snow is pure and it is white. It gives the colorless winter landscapes here in New England a fresh new look, covering up all of the gray, brown, dead-looking trees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s like a sign of life and purity in the midst of a season of death.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, God has a way of speaking to us that we might miss if we\u2019re not careful and vigilant to see it or hear it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He is saying, \u201cI\u2019ve got this. This is not the end. It is the beginning. Follow me as I lead. Keep your eyes on Me. I will show you great and mighty things.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to trust Him in all things, even when what we see with our eyes might not look the way we think it should.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
