Matthew 3:1-2 (NKJV) 1\u00a0In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, \u201cRepent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Unless we hear the call to salvation through repentance, and we take action, there is no new birth in Christ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our hearts must hear the call; the nudging or tugging to get right with God and to remain in it, not simply make a decision today, and then tomorrow do whatever we want.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we realize the state that we are in, and the need\u00a0to become a child of God\u00a0and change our lives, that is when we usually are ready to do whatever needs to be done to make it happen.<\/p>\n

It is a state of repentance\u00a0that draws our hearts toward God. A place we come to where we know we need to let go and make some big changes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

For some it is very hard to let go of the past. But that past must become history and we must learn from it,\u00a0not live in it.<\/p>\n

If we are a \u201cpast-liver\u201d that\u2019s where our heart will remain. And if anything remains still for too long, it becomes stagnant.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we are like this, we will not grow or go very far with Christ.\u00a0We will be a stagnant Christian. We will be motionless, still, lifeless, dead, or slack. None of us want that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hear what the word of God is saying to our hearts today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be quick to hear the call of repentance and walk in the fulness of His love and Salvation.<\/p>\n

Share it with others, and stop thinking that what we have to say is meaningless. God\u2019s word brings truth and life. It\u2019s so important\u00a0 that we speak it when He opens the door for us to do so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 6:63 (NKJV) 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
