John 14:27 (NKJV) 27 Peace I leave with you,\u00a0My\u00a0peace I give to you; not as the world gives\u00a0do\u00a0I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don\u2019t get stuck on a certain part of your journey and lose out on the rest of what God may have for us.<\/p>\n

This is a trick of the enemy.<\/p>\n

He will try to get us to keep our eyes on the one thing that meant a lot to us, long after the season for it has ended.<\/p>\n

He does this so that we will miss out on what God has for us in the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How many of us are in a state of\u00a0\u201cI’m not so sure about\u00a0what is going to happen\u00a0now that things are different”?<\/p>\n

We keep thinking about how it was, better than ever before, and now we have nothing to look forward to.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0just can\u2019t seem to get over the fact that our situation has changed.\u00a0And now we won’t let ourselves move forward.<\/p>\n

I know exactly how that\u00a0feels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I remember one year in particular. Both my daughters had gotten married and had moved out.<\/p>\n

I remember looking at their empty rooms and saying, “Wow! Where did the time go?”.<\/p>\n

They were gone, and their rooms were empty.<\/p>\n

I cried, of course, and I even moped a bit.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t really know what to do next because my life revolved around caring for them, nurturing, guiding and holding them.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0blink of an\u00a0eye it was all gone, and I just didn\u2019t quite\u00a0know what to do with myself.<\/p>\n

The house was way too quiet and it felt very empty. I felt alone. I felt like a part of me was empty and lost. And I was a bit confused about this new life of mine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As time went by,\u00a0I settled down and began to accept\u00a0what had taken place.<\/p>\n

I knew if I kept looking back, longing for the way things used to be, I would remain in this sad state. I had to let go of what was and move on to what is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You may be scared today. Maybe you don\u2019t even know how to move on.<\/p>\n

All I could do during that time was say, \u201cOK, I\u2019m here.\u00a0Now what, Lord?”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Rest in Him. Let His peace carry you through it.<\/p>\n

I’ve learned to love today and where I\u2019m at.<\/p>\n

My husband and I live out our lives to the fullest. We absolutely love doing things together.<\/p>\n

There is hope for the hopeless. Let Him unfold it.\u00a0He knows us better than we know ourselves.\u00a0Every hair on our head\u00a0is numbered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Luke 12:7 (NKJV) 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
