John 14:26 (NKJV) 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jesus\u00a0was talking to the disciples here.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t expect them to be able to go into the world and preach the gospel by their own strength or understanding.<\/p>\n

He knew they needed a Helper to accomplish what was before them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Just as the disciples in the days of Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, so do we in our daily lives.<\/p>\n

If we don\u2019t let Him speak to our hearts when we need Him, that is our choice. But we need to understand that He is willing.\u00a0I believe we need to call on Him for help at times. I believe the ears to our heart need to be always open to Him. And I believe that if we listen and follow\u00a0His help we will accomplish, we will conquer and we will win the battles we face in the flesh every day!<\/p>\n

We can’t wait until Sunday or Wednesday nights to get His words.\u00a0We need Him every hour of every day, alive and able to freely speak to our hearts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In order for us to shine God\u2019s light and show His love in this world, we need to win the battles on the inside of us\u00a0so that we can walk in the\u00a0greatest gift of all;\u00a0Love.<\/p>\n

We need to be kind, and encouraging, but also firm when needed.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t do this without our Helper. There is so much that affects us. We are flesh. We are emotional. We hurt at times, and we are weak.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV) 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ\u2019s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is the Holy Spirit, our Helper, that makes us strong enough to do the things God asks of us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
