Proverbs 23:9 (NKJV) 9 Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, For he will despise the wisdom of your words.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Do we\u00a0wonder sometimes why much of what we say\u00a0falls\u00a0on deaf\u00a0ears?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s often because those who are listening are fools.<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t want to hear what we have to say, even if it is wisdom.<\/p>\n

They are interested only in things that tickle their ears. Only things that they want to hear, And that is why we need to be careful as to who we share our knowledge with.<\/p>\n

Only God knows at times who is going to listen, or who will turn on us. And we must always be discerning at when we open our mouths to share the\u00a0things that\u00a0He has shown us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 7:6 (NKJV)\u00a0 6\u00a0\u201cDo not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Bad people will take what we say and turn it around to make us look bad. Or take good things that we do and make it look like it\u2019s their work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be careful.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

On one job I used to have,\u00a0I started at entry level. That\u00a0was fine by me. I needed the wages and I was willing to learn and climb up the ladder. I always looked at it as getting paid while going to school.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I learned the job, part of which was reconciling the financial transactions for each month. As I said, it was entry level.<\/p>\n

They nicknamed me the \u201cQueen of Reconciliation.\u201d It was kind of funny, since the\u00a0coworkers looked down at me. They\u00a0couldn\u2019t understand how I could be an employee\u00a0at a business that handled millions of dollars worth of transactions each month, with the little knowledge I had in that field.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One day, at the end of my shift, I was preparing to go home.<\/p>\n

My supervisor said, “where are you going?” I said, “home”. She said, \u201cdid you reconcile all the accounts?\u201d I said, \u201cI didn\u2019t know I had to have them done in one day\u201d. She said, \u201cyes, this is required at the end of the month”. “OK”, I said.<\/p>\n

Because no one had told me this in advance, she let me go ahead home. But next month, I would have to have them all done\u00a0before I left.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

During the next\u00a0month,\u00a0during\u00a0my free time, God gave me wisdom to create a spreadsheet that would help me to\u00a0reconcile the accounts to the penny, but in much less time than how they had taught me to do it.<\/p>\n

All I had to do was put in the correct information regarding each account, which came in that same day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It worked amazingly well and I had it all done very quickly!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I went to punch out at the end of that\u00a0day. The same person says to me, \u201cwhere are you going?” I said, \u201chome to have supper with my family”. With a smirk on their face, they\u00a0asked, \u201care the accounts finished?\u201d. I said, \u201cyes!\u201d.<\/p>\n

She was shocked and wouldn\u2019t take my word for it, so I had to show her.<\/p>\n

She and all the others that were listening in were in awe.<\/p>\n

God did it! He gave me wisdom.<\/p>\n

Those were my pearls that day. When I came in the next\u00a0day she wanted me to show her how I did it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

After I showed her, she went to the head boss and said, \u201clook, we<\/strong><\/em> made a spreadsheet that calculates and reconciles the accounts to the penny.<\/p>\n

She took the\u00a0credit. So be careful with those things God gives you, and be discerning as to how you share them and with whom.<\/p>\n

He will show us how to do mighty things, and we need to protect them from thieves, liars and people that will not think twice to throw us under the bus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is good! He gives us the words we need, and the wisdom and ability\u00a0to get the job done.<\/p>\n

His Spirit of excellence lives in us.<\/p>\n

But there are people out there who often won\u2019t listen.\u00a0And\u00a0if they\u00a0do, they may very well have a motive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
