1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV) 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was last week sometime and I was sitting out on my deck, reading and contemplating on God\u2019s word. As I was doing that, I heard the words, “are you happy?”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I thought to myself, what kind of question is that? Am I happy?<\/p>\n

I thought, yes\u00a0I’m\u00a0very happy!<\/p>\n

I love my work.\u00a0I love the place where we live.\u00a0I love my family.<\/p>\n

I love my relationship with God, His Son and the Holy Spirit working\u00a0through\u00a0me.<\/p>\n

I love, I love, I love!<\/p>\n

Yes,\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0happy.\u00a0I am very blessed!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Well, after this I didn\u2019t hear any other words. It was just a question, and nothing else followed. It bothered me to some degree because I didn\u2019t know why I heard it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Then it hit me; I don\u2019t act like I’m happy. I don\u2019t sing like I used to. I don\u2019t smile as much as I used to. I don\u2019t even talk as much as I used to.<\/p>\n

Why? What happened?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s what happens to us all if we are not careful. We get busy, we get tired, we get quiet, we get comfortable and everything becomes a routine.<\/p>\n

Just\u00a0 a little reminder today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let us not forget to rejoice in God and take the time to sit and thank Him for all the good things in our life. To continue to pray without ceasing, even when life is going great and things are moving forward.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s so\u00a0very important\u00a0to remember to laugh and smile, to talk and share of the good things God has done. And to put on some good music and dance to it unto the Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don\u2019t\u00a0forget to spread the joy and happiness God has\u00a0provided for\u00a0each one of us when we feel led to do so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n
