Genesis 12:1 (NKJV) 1\u00a0Now the Lord had said to Abram: \u201cGet out of your country,\u00a0From\u00a0your family\u00a0And\u00a0from your father\u2019s house,\u00a0To\u00a0a land that I will show you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Unless we take the step, we will never know the results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Take for instance, Abraham. If he did not leave his country, his family and\u00a0his father\u2019s house, he would have never known what\u00a0God was calling him into.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have to take steps. We have to obey, and then we see the results. Steps give us results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I speak to you today because many times in our lives\u00a0we’ve had to step out.<\/p>\n

Were we scared sometimes? Yes, very much. Big moves are scary.<\/p>\n

Little moves, not so much.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0God is a big God and when He knows we have it in us to do what He is asking, He will often ask us to do things beyond what we would ever think we could do.<\/p>\n

All He is looking for is obedience. And from there He will do His work through us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we step out, it\u2019s kind of like we are doing research at first. And when we see that the steps we are taking are working, then it goes from research to answers, to confirmation.<\/p>\n

It is what builds our faith up; learning to listen, trust and step.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We grow our faith as we learn to obey God, step by step.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What is God asking of us today?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is He saying we need to step out and leave our home? Let it go?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is He saying He wants us to step out and let go of certain relationships?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is He saying\u00a0it\u2019s time to make a move and open up our own business?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is He asking for our tithe and offering, even though we may not feel\u00a0it\u2019s doable?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Does He want us to call the debt collectors and tell them that\u00a0we are struggling, and can\u2019t pay our bill, and ask if we can work this out\u00a0somehow?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is He saying to step out and be truthful with our spouse, and tell them what we have been doing behind their backs?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is He asking us to be more devoted to Him and stop sitting on the fence?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There are a lot of areas where God will ask His\u00a0children\u00a0to step out;\u00a0areas where we never thought we would.<\/p>\n

Some can be very scary and very hard.\u00a0But if we are feeling God\u2019s prompting to do so,\u00a0then do it. We can share later His results.<\/p>\n

If He is the One doing the prompting, He is faithful to see it through!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Psalm 128:1 (NKJV)\u00a01\u00a0Blessed is\u00a0every one\u00a0who fears the Lord,\u00a0Who\u00a0walks in His ways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
