Psalm 128:1 (NKJV) 1\u00a0Blessed is\u00a0every one\u00a0who fears the Lord,\u00a0Who\u00a0walks in His ways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God\u2019s blessings are probably the most sought after thing in history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is nothing better than to be blessed by God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Who could ask for more than that, right?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Well, now that we\u2019ve established that fact, let\u2019s talk about what it takes to actually make it happen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

First, we need to emphasize that making God\u2019s blessings happen should never be a primary goal. If we seek the blessings before the Blesser, our\u00a0priorities\u00a0are a bit mixed up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

With that said, how do we accomplish being blessed by God? Is there a \u201csecret formula\u201d?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Well, the answer to that would be no… and yes. Let me explain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is no set-in-stone recipe, so to speak, that guarantees it to happen. For example, we know that if we have two eggs and we get two more, we will have 4. That\u2019s an absolute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But with God, following a set of steps doesn\u2019t always give us absolutes like the 4 eggs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, with God, it\u2019s all about the condition of our heart. God knows our heart better than we know it, and how He blesses us (or not) is very dependent upon our heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Look at what He said of David.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Acts 13:22 (NKJV) 22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, \u2018I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And David was a man that God blessed mightily, because of his loyalty and diligence, and the steadfastness that he displayed toward his relationship with God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, it\u2019s imperative that we not worry about the blessings. Don\u2019t pursue them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Pursue God wholeheartedly. The blessings will take care of themselves if\/when we\u2019re ready for them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God knows. He is above our ways and above our thoughts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Trust Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
