Psalm 149:3-4 (NKJV) 3 Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. 4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He \u00a0will beautify the humble with salvation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This verse speaks\u00a0specifically of the praise and worship He receives from His children.<\/p>\n

There is tremendous power in praise and worship.\u00a0And God loves it!<\/p>\n

It is a\u00a0mighty spiritual\u00a0weapon given\u00a0to believers.\u00a0And when we are praising and worshipping Him, He begins to deal directly with our spiritual enemies.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s\u00a0why\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0so important to continue doing this even when we are in a battle.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t stop. We don\u2019t sit down and whine. We don\u2019t wish we had someone else’s life.<\/p>\n

If we want to win any battle, we’d better learn how to drop to our knees in praise and worship to the Lord, our Savior.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why don\u2019t His children do this more often?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Because the enemy will work extremely hard to distract us, leaving very little time for it.<\/p>\n

Our enemy knows that when we spend time worshiping and praising\u00a0God,\u00a0we have victory over him. He will fight us tooth and nail to keep\u00a0us off our knees.<\/p>\n

He will fight extra hard to keep us in a continual state of fret, worry and unbelief.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let us take a few minutes today and ponder on where we stand.<\/p>\n

Have we filled up our day already? Did we get caught up in the hustle and bustle and forget about praise and worship?<\/p>\n

This is a good day to start over. Rethink it.\u00a0It’s never too late.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
