Matthew 9:28-29 (NKJV) 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, \u201cDo you believe that I am able to do this?<\/span>\u201d They said to Him, \u201cYes, Lord.\u201d 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, \u201cAccording to your faith let it be to you<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

These two\u00a0blind men needed healing. Jesus just asked a simple, but very profound question;\u00a0\u201cDo you believe that I am able to do this?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If Jesus were to ask us today regarding our own situation, what would be our answer?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They could have said, \u201cwell, let\u2019s see how it goes and then we will answer you.\u201d<\/p>\n

No. These men knew He was able. Their faith in Jesus was at the point of receiving their healing. There was no doubt about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we believing by mouth alone?\u00a0Are we mimicking someone else’s words that we\u2019ve heard?<\/p>\n

Or do we believe because the faith we have in our own heart knows that He is able?<\/p>\n

You see, there are no coat-riding healings with Jesus.\u00a0We have to have our own faith.<\/p>\n

There may be times when our faith gets combined with the faith of others to get certain results. But if it\u2019s for us, or our situation, we have to start the process by having faith at least the size of a mustard seed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 17:20 (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, \u201cBecause of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is a very important<\/em><\/strong> question, and only we can answer it.<\/p>\n

Many people can and will fake it.\u00a0They know the talk.<\/p>\n

They know how to put their hands up and praise God.\u00a0They know the church lingo. But, none of that will work to get answers, deliverance,\u00a0salvation, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s according to our faith. Let it be done.<\/p>\n

We must believe He is able to do what we are asking Him to do.<\/p>\n

If we need God\u2019s help to have more faith, ask Him and He will help us in our unbelief. But, don\u2019t try to\u00a0fake it. That won\u2019t get us anywhere but disappointed. And it will turn us away from Him, thinking He doesn\u2019t answer our prayers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Mark 9:24 (NKJV) 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, \u201cLord, I believe; help my unbelief!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He will help us have the faith we need when we acknowledge that we need His help and we ask Him for it.<\/p>\n

Have faith so He can deliver! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
