Hebrews 6:12 (NKJV) 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As followers of Christ, we have to be in a forward motion and not give up on our walk with God.<\/p>\n

Growing and becoming Christlike takes being patient and enduring to the end.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t get lazy. We cannot let down our guard. We need to be steadfast, alert, discerning, and learning continually.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What helps us to be good faith-filled warriors?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ephesians 6:11 (NKJV) 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God\u2019s armor will keep us alert and protected! We need to be fully dressed in His armor;\u00a0covered from head to toe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What is God\u2019s armor?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ephesians 6:14-18 (NKJV) 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints\u2014<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It\u2019s all right here in these verses…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

14 \u2013 Knowing the truth and standing firm in it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

15 \u2013 Prepare ourselves with the gospel of Peace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

16 \u2013 Walk in faith;\u00a0don\u2019t try to do it on our own, but trust that God\u2019s Spirit is with us all the way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

17 \u2013 Walk in the freedom we have received through salvation in Christ, carrying His word in our hearts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

18 \u2013 pray, watch and keep going.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be encouraged today. Don\u2019t waste time listening to the naysayers. Keep persevering, and stay fully covered in God\u2019s armor. We shall inherit the promises together! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
