John 14:23 (NKJV) 23 Jesus answered and said to him, \u201cIf anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We all long for God to love\u00a0us.<\/p>\n

Some of us try so hard to earn HIs love. Some wrestle with thinking we are never good enough for His love, and we feel like we are constantly failing Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I have learned over the years, though, that God is God!<\/p>\n

His thoughts, His ways and\u00a0His heart\u00a0are\u00a0much more than we could ever comprehend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Do you know He loved us first? That\u2019s right; first.<\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t do a single thing to make Him love us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

1 John 4:19 (NKJV) 19 We love Him because He first loved us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Because of His love for us and what He did to save us, we love Him.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0we didn\u2019t have to do anything for Him to love us.<\/p>\n

He loved us right from the beginning; every one of us. Red, yellow, black and white, we are precious in His sight! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But if we want to\u00a0show our love for Him, what does He say we will\u00a0do? We will keep His word.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That simply means that, if we have put our faith and trust in Him,\u00a0we live out His word in our daily lives. We walk it out for others to see.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What does He promise us if we do this? He will make His home in us!<\/p>\n

Wow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What else could we ever want?<\/p>\n

God living in us each day.<\/p>\n

That right there is more than this world could ever measure up to.<\/p>\n

Why\u00a0would we even care to obtain anything else? Why would we have idols in our hearts or put things before Him?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

His love has always been there for us.\u00a0Now\u00a0we must tear down anything that\u00a0stands in the way of us loving Him back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
