Luke 17:26-27 (NKJV) 26\u00a0And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Things in the world have changed rapidly over the last few years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are living in a critical time in history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We may not necessarily be on the edge of the rapture. Only God the Father knows the day and the time for that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We\u00a0are<\/em>, however, living in times when we need to be awake, alert, vigilant and actively discerning what we are witnessing all around us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Almost everyone will readily admit that things today are vastly different than they were even a few years ago.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to let God show us why<\/em> they\u2019ve changed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This doesn\u2019t imply a need for us to understand\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0of it, but we do need to at least recognize it and acknowledge it as being so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to see the signs. And then we need to let God show us how to respond to what we\u2019re seeing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He\u00a0will<\/em>\u00a0prompt us and show us. We just need to be sure we\u2019re paying attention and heeding those promptings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we sensing or feeling lately like He might be telling us to do something out of the ordinary from time to time; something outside of our normal habits?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Maybe we\u2019ve felt like we need to buy extra groceries. Maybe He\u2019s prompting us to handle our money differently; cut back on unnecessary spending, or move our money from one account to another, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

These are just examples, but recognizing them might help us better understand what God is trying to show us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Maybe we\u00a0have<\/em>\u00a0felt this, but we\u2019ve just brushed it off because we didn\u2019t understand it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God will speak to each of us based on our own situations, because each of our circumstances are different.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But even in that, there will often be a common thread from one believer to another, since God is the same, and speaks the same message to everyone, albeit it in different ways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s critical that we are careful to pay attention to God\u2019s promptings and the leading of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As He is faithful to lead, let us also be faithful to follow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
