Deuteronomy 20:4 (NKJV) 4 for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we challenged on our job? Do we feel like we\u00a0can\u2019t\u00a0get ahead of things? What is happening with our\u00a0plans? Does\u00a0it feel like nothing seems to be going right?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How do we turn things around when it feels like this?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We all know that life’s struggles can be up and down.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we feel as though we are on a cloud. But it doesn\u2019t seem to last that long, and then we are down in the valley again.<\/p>\n

We ask God, \u201cwhy the struggle? Why can\u2019t we stay level just for a while?\u00a0I\u2019m so tired of this, and I don\u2019t want to have to do it again”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We\u00a0have to\u00a0take a look\u00a0at what we are doing.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because many times the results of our choices are what’s putting us on this never-ending cycle of ups and downs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to break habits, schedules, routines and just plain old everyday ways of thinking.<\/p>\n

We have to reach a point where we just say, \u201cOK, I’m done with doing it the same old way. I’m going to push myself to let God bring change in my way of thinking”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to be strong\u00a0and patient if we want the best results. We need to allow God to push us beyond what is comfortable for us, and say, \u201cOK.\u00a0I’m not going to step in the way this time, even if it takes a little longer than I expected”.<\/p>\n

And we have to mean it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How many can relate?<\/p>\n

I know, because this is speaking to me today, too.<\/p>\n

Can we stand together, praying for each other to let good and helpful change come?<\/p>\n

We need the type of change that will make us\u00a0the head, and not constantly falling back into the tail-end.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Deuteronomy 28:13 (NKJV) 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God will make us the head:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Step one (1) have we reached the end of our rope?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Step two (2) Have we\u00a0come to\u00a0the conclusion that we are the cause of our situation, and we are willing to change the way we do things?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Step three (3) Can we take a step of faith and observe His way for us, trusting Him to turn things around?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Pray with us if you’d like God to help you in this area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Dear God,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So many times I keep failing and going back to the old. So many times my heart is convicted, but my will keeps doing the same thing. I\u2019m sorry, and I know that if I continue down this path, I will lose again.<\/p>\n

I ask You to help me switch up those things in me that cause me to repeat the\u00a0error(s)\u00a0over and over again.<\/p>\n

Give me a backbone to say no to myself, and to walk in Your way. I want to change my situation, not only for my own sake, but for my family or those\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0close to as well.<\/p>\n

I do care and I do want to make a difference and be a good steward of all you give me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Thank you in advance for Your help. My heart is ready to listen and I am ready to observe and do Your will.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
