Acts 1:8 (NKJV) 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we walking in the power of the Holy Spirit today? Or are we trying to walk in our own fleshly understanding?<\/p>\n

It’s important for us to understand that it is impossible to touch people\u2019s hearts and to do the will of God without His empowering Spirit. Impossible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit we will accomplish much.<\/p>\n

We will be prompted, convicted and prayerful at times to help people and situations.<\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit knows what to say at any given time and He will not shy away from things that need to be said, unlike our natural man.<\/p>\n

Our minds and our will\u00a0may fight us at times if we have to say or do something that makes us uncomfortable or causes others to look at us differently.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, we can’t be worrying about our reputation. We have to develop a heart and mindset that doesn\u2019t hold our reputation up higher than our obedience to God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He will lead us through the Holy Spirit, our Helper, as we submit to Him<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we walk without listening to His Spirit, we will fail many times. And we will not be good witnesses for Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We must follow our Master. We are not our own boss.\u00a0We are servants, and very much accountable to Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 13:16 (NKJV) 16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let the Holy Spirit empower\u00a0us to make the necessary changes within ourselves, so that we can be servants to Him and a great witness to all the world.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
