Psalm 147:3 (NKJV) 3 He heals the brokenhearted\u00a0And\u00a0binds up their wounds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Losing a loved one brings up many questions.<\/p>\n

Where are they\u00a0now\u00a0that we can\u2019t feel, touch or speak to them? Are they in heaven? Are they still in the ground? Do they have a new body? Are they missing me?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our minds\u00a0want\u00a0answers. We try so hard to find those answers, hoping it will bring comfort, taking\u00a0away the loneliness\u00a0and the pain of their absence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Losing someone dear to us can make us stronger or it can break us for life.<\/p>\n

Because we loved so much, it almost literally breaks our heart when they pass on or go home.<\/p>\n

We can listen to others and try to find comfort in books, counsel, and other sources.<\/p>\n

But beware of the mediums who will\u00a0act like they can reach the dead and connect with them.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s all a lie and demonic in every form. They can mess you up completely and severely\u00a0damage your relationship with God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Unless we let God heal that broken, lonely heart, we will never get up and get back on our feet again. We too will die on the inside. We will still be walking and breathing, but dead to everything around us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Getting mad at anyone, even God, will not do a bit of good.<\/p>\n

We need to be healed. Time will help with that, but what’s most important\u00a0is that we\u00a0run to Him with our pain.<\/p>\n

We need to rest\u00a0in His arms, laying down all that is in us that concerns us. As we do this, He will bring healing and find a way to get us up and walking again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The devil would love for us to blame God. He would love for us to be angry at Him and the world.<\/p>\n

But all that will do is hurt us more, causing us to fall away from the One who can truly help us and comfort us.<\/p>\n

He will\u00a0be our best friend in such a difficult time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we are suffering or struggling because of our loss, there are two\u00a0things to do today.<\/p>\n

1. Acknowledge our brokenness.<\/p>\n

2. Ask God to bring healing and get us up and walking again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Death is part of this life\u00a0here on earth.<\/p>\n

But in Heaven there is no more death,\u00a0no sorrow and no pain.<\/p>\n

There is no loss. There is no sin and there are no struggles.<\/p>\n

But while we are still here, our healing comes by\u00a0putting one foot in front of the other and walking out each day with the Lord\u2019s guidance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Death happens to us all at times.\u00a0Let us cry out for God’s help to get us through it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
