Isaiah 46:8-10 (NKJV) 8 \u201cRemember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors. 9 Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, \u2018My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God\u2019s sovereignty is above all else. There is nothing and nobody like Him, anywhere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He rules and reigns over the earth and the galaxies that are even too far away to be seen by our eyes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

These verses were issued as a reminder of who God is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In verse 10, the phrase, \u201cshow yourselves men\u201d, literally means, \u201cbe men, take courage\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This says a lot to us, reminiscent of the words\u00a0in Joshua 1:9, where God said to \u201cbe strong and of good courage\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is speaking to us as we walk through this current season of incredible evil that we\u2019re witnessing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He is reminding us that we have nothing to fear. He is God. There is none like Him. He declares the end from the beginning, even those things that are not yet done.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

His counsel will stand, and He will do all He has determined to do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Tyranny will not win. Evil will not prevail, regardless of what we\u2019re seeing with our natural eyes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is no one who can touch our God. His word stands true even in the midst of chaos, darkness and whatever else the enemy and his allies try to put together and throw at us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The rest is up to us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Will we trust Him in the face of adversity? Will we stand firm in our faith, not backing down when that same faith is tested, even under extreme duress?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is not the season to run, nor to hide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is God. Trust Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
