Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) 6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Train up a child in the way they should go.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This responsibility has been placed solely in the hands of parents.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s big!<\/p>\n

But God will not leave us on our own to do this. He will guide us through every step with His manual to life, His\u00a0Word, the Bible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He can only help us if we are reading it.<\/p>\n

There are days when we may not want to because of everything else pulling on us.\u00a0We are just so busy.<\/p>\n

As we let other things creep in and we neglect to stay in the Word of God, things will get harder for us and our children will suffer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We will try to make the right decisions for\u00a0our children, but\u00a0fail at times and wonder why.<\/p>\n

Many times it’s because we lack what comes from God\u2019s word.<\/p>\n

It gives us strength. It gives us wisdom. It gives us encouragement. It gives us direction for both, us as the parents, and our children.<\/p>\n

When we have children in our home, we need it. We are on a mission. And raising godly children in this day and age is a mission in and of itself, more so than ever before!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is a daily fight to keep our kids in line and on track. It\u2019s a fight some days just to keep ourselves in line and on track.<\/p>\n

But here’s a gentle reminder; if we don\u2019t keep them in the word of God, they will not do it themselves. We have to be the ones.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Parents, feed them God\u2019s word. We get just so\u00a0much time with them to do this and then they go out on their own. Let us invest our time into our babes. And then when they leave home, it’s in them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It\u2019s all God asks of us to do for them. And then we get to enjoy the fruit of it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
