Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Boy, the\u00a0fruit sounds so great!<\/p>\n

Can we\u00a0just picture it? God\u2019s children all walk together in this. It makes me happy just thinking about it. What a beautiful way to live!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is only one thing that stops us from walking completely in this; our flesh.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s right. Our own self.<\/p>\n

Talk about control over what we can do and not do. We have it in us, but sometimes, as we all know, it\u2019s hard to control our feelings.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got to be wise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Proverbs 29:11 (NKJV) 11 A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our\u00a0emotions like to have control. And if we let them, they can take us down the opposite road of what we should be doing, saying and feeling.<\/p>\n

We need to hold back our emotions at times and tell them how they are going to behave. Not the other way around.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
