Matthew 27:35-37 (NIV) 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. 36 And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. 37 Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.<\/p>\n

As I write this, it is Good Friday, and I am so very humbled as I\u00a0take this day and time to reflect on what the Lord has done for us.<\/p>\n

Every day in the lives of believers should be a “Good Friday\u201d! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What a loving and giving Savior, Jesus Christ, to do what He has done for us.<\/p>\n

He was verbally accused with words that were untrue. He was physically abused, whipped and tortured.<\/p>\n

Then, He was nailed to the cross. He hung there until His death.<\/p>\n

And on that 3rd day, He came alive. How glorious!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Luke 24:6-7 (NKJV) 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, \u2018The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again<\/span>.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Would anyone besides Jesus sacrifice themselves\u00a0for us and go through what He did?<\/p>\n

Never. No one could do what He did for us. We needed the perfect and righteous blood of Jesus to cleanse us from our sins and make us whole again.<\/p>\n

He has saved us from hell, but only if we choose to believe in Him. He has given us such a precious gift; eternal life!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He deserves our whole hearts and our full attention\u00a0each and every day.<\/p>\n

He should be the first One we talk to in the morning, and carry it on throughout the day.<\/p>\n

And then before we close our eyes at night, the last one to say, “thank you and goodnight” to. Our protector, provider and our Savior!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Praise You, Lord, for great and mighty are You forever and ever. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
