Proverbs 19:17 (NKJV) 17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wow!<\/p>\n

When we help others and do kind things for those in need, we are actually lending to the Lord. How many of us knew this?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Being\u00a0God\u2019s children, we think\u00a0it would be natural to give. For some it is, but for others they struggle.<\/p>\n

Where do we stand in this? Are we willing to let go and help others?<\/p>\n

This scripture says that when we do, we are lending to the Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, I guess we shouldn’t think about who or what it is for, but make sure we are listening to the Lord as to whether we should or should not, how much, and what the timing should be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I can\u2019t even imagine\u00a0that I would ever be lending to the Lord. Everything I have is what He has blessed me\u00a0with. He is so good.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, the next time we see or hear of a situation where there is a need, go for it! Because not only are we obeying, but much more than that, we are giving back to our Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What a beautiful opportunity!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Luke 6:38 (NKJV) 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
